The main goal of this paper is to determine the elements for evaluating competitive advantage obtained by implementing benchmarking strategy. The realization of the main goal will remove all dilemmas and respect recommendations that would enable recognition of market, competitive and other factors that are important for efficient business. Research results have made solid bases for theoretical analysis of competitive advantages of organizations that sell fruits and vegetables, based on benchmarking analysis of business and objectification of the role, importance and effects of benchmarking as competitive advantage. The conclusion is that benchmarking may lead to competitive advantage in economic and communicative goals.
